Terms & Conditions of Sale

These terms apply to all orders placed with M2 Digital London, 28-30 Hoxton Square, London, N1 6NN, whether through this website, by phone or by email. Please read them alongside our Delivery, Returns, Warranty, Privacy and Cookies policies.

Definitions

  • We / us — M2 Digital London, an HP Authorised Reseller.
  • You — the business or consumer buying from us.
  • Goods — the HP printers, consumables, spare parts, software and services listed in your order.

Prices and VAT

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Prices are shown excluding VAT with the VAT-inclusive figure alongside. UK VAT is charged at the standard rate of 20% where applicable. A VAT invoice is issued with every order. Delivery charges are shown separately in our Delivery policy. We may correct obvious pricing errors before dispatch and will contact you first; you may cancel without penalty if you do not accept the corrected price.

Orders and contract formation

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order in writing (including by email). Quotations are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise, are subject to stock availability, and may be withdrawn before acceptance. If goods become unavailable after acceptance we will offer a refund or a comparable alternative with your agreement.

Specifications and suitability

Product images and specifications on this site are for guidance; exact specifications are those published by HP for the model supplied. We are happy to advise on suitability, but the final choice of model and consumables is yours. Consumable yields are stated by HP and vary with usage.

Payment

Payment is due before dispatch unless a credit account has been agreed in writing, in which case terms are 30 days from invoice date. We accept UK debit and credit cards and bank transfer. Title in the goods remains with us until payment has cleared in full. Late commercial payments may attract statutory interest and costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Delivery, returns and warranty

Delivery charges, timescales and installation; your 14-day consumer cancellation right and business returns; and HP warranty cover are set out in our Delivery, Returns and Warranty policies, which form part of these terms.

Cancellation by us and events outside our control

We may cancel an order and refund you in full if the price was clearly wrong, goods are discontinued, or fraud is suspected. We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including supplier shortages, transport disruption, strikes, power or network failures, and severe weather. If such an event continues for more than 30 days, either party may cancel the affected order and we will refund any money paid for undelivered goods.

Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Goods supplied to consumers must match their description and be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose (Consumer Rights Act 2015) — nothing in these terms restricts those rights. For business customers, our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for the goods, and we are not liable for loss of profit, data or business interruption.

Complaints, ADR and governing law

Please raise complaints with us first on +44 20 3864 9850; we aim to respond within 5 working days. If we cannot resolve matters we will signpost an approved alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider, and consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform where applicable. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

General

We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you order applies to that order. If any term is found unenforceable, the rest continue in force. You may not transfer your contract with us without our written consent; we may assign it as part of a business reorganisation. These terms, together with the policies listed above, form the entire agreement between us for each order.
